Elephant Overturns Car at Safari Park (VIDEO)

During a safari ride at the Kruger National Park in South Africa on December 30, a car got too close to a walking elephant and the unexpected happened. The elephant overturned the car and their passengers, Sarah Brooks from England and her South African fiance Jans de Klerk. They were both taken to hospital with injuries and have now been released. Park officials later shot the elephant which was in musth, a periodic condition in males that makes them aggressive when their testosterone levels rise by up to 60 times. It also had an injury, which is believed to have increased its aggressiveness.
