Former Nasa astronaut tells it is 'arrogant' to think we are alone in the universe as experts claim alien life could be found in the next 20 years

As we make strides in space travel, many people appear to be leaning towards the notion that alien life does exist – and one former astronaut in particular says 'there is life all over our universe'.

Having spent 230 days in space, the Nasa veteran Leroy Chiao suggests it is 'arrogant' for humans to think we are the only living beings in the cosmos.
