Mackinaw City is a village in Emmet and Cheboygan counties in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 806 at the 2010 census; the population surges during the summer tourist season with the influx of seasonal workers who labor in the shops, hotels and other recreational facilities there and in the surrounding region.
