Haggen Plans To Close California Stores - CBS Local

BELLINGHAM, Wash. (CBSLA.com) — Haggen stores, which expanded rapidly into California and neighboring states less than a year ago, announced Thursday that it would close stores as part of plan to focus on its core operations on the Pacific Northwest.

The company said as part of its plan to “right-size,” it would close stores in California, Arizona and Nevada as part of a bankruptcy process announced Sept. 9.
