Burkina Faso Soldiers Surround Guard Camp, Explosions Heard - Voice of America

Tensions are running high in Burkina Faso's capital, where army troops have surrounded the camp of the presidential guard unit behind a recent failed coup.

Journalist Emilie Iob, reporting for VOA in Ouagadougou, said she heard two explosions coming from the direction of the camp late Tuesday afternoon, but she could not identify their source.
