Curry is an American professional basketball player of the Golden State Warriors, is considered as greatest shooter in NBA history.
He was born on March 14, 1988 in Akron, Ohio to Sonya and Dell Curry. He has a younger brother Seth Curry and a sister Sydel Curry.
Curry is a member of perhaps the most athletically decorated bloodline of Curry and Snell in the region history. His father Dell Curry is a former professional basketball player and his brother Seth is shooting guard with Dallas Mavericks. His sister Sydel Curry is a University volleyball player.
He excelled while at ‘Queensway Christian College’ boys’ team in Toronto and later moved to Charlotte representing Charlotte Christian School. He led them to three conference title and he was named in the All-Conference, All-State team.
Curry’s desire of joining Virginia Tech was not to be, due to his slender frame. The prodigy was only offered a walk-on spot, hence he joined Davidson College.
As a freshman, he eclipsed the school freshman scoring record with his 502nd points on February 06, 2007 and on March 02, 2007 he broke the 3-pointers with his 113th three pointer of the year.
