Kyrie Andrew Irving, from the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA), has the former professional basketball player Rod Strickland, a Nike athlete, as his godfather. Here are some most amazing facts about Kyrie Irving, the American basketball player:

  1. He was born Kyrie Andrew Irving on March 23, 1992, in Melbourne, Australia, to an American parents. His father Drederick Irving was a professional basketball player with Bulleen Boomers, Victoria, Australia.
  2. He is the second of three children to Drederick Irving, Elizabeth Irving and step mother Shetellia Irving. He has an older sister Asia and a half younger sister London Irving.
