  1. According to Forbes, he is ranked number 2, among the World’s Most Powerful Sports Agent 2018.
  2. Mendes was born Jorge Paulo Agostinho Mendes, on January 06, 1966, in Lisbon, Portugal. He is known by his nickname ‘Cabanas.’
  3. He was brought up in modest surroundings, living in a housing development meant for employees of Petrogal where his father worked.
  4. Mendes represents some of the greatest talent the sport has to offer, namely superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez, Angel Di Maria and Diego Costa.
