Katherine Langford, who gained world-wide recognition for starring as Hannah Baker in the 2017 Netflix series "13 Reasons Why," is now currently cast in the most awaited "Avengers: Endgame" movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here are some really interesting facts about the Australian actress:

Langford is said to have got the role of Hannah Baker in the "13 Reasons Why" series through a Skype audition. It was reported that she initially auditioned for both the roles of Hannah and Jessica, before she landed the former role in the series.
During the filming of "13 Reasons Why," she is said to have purchased a piano while staying in San Rafael, California , and would play it in an effort to comfort herself between takes whenever feelings would become overly intense.
Langford was one of five selected to participate in the National Institute of Dramatic Arts Advanced Actors Residency in the year 2015.
Before hitting it big, she had appeared in minor roles in several small independent films, including the "Story of Miss Oxygen" in 2015, and the "Imperfect Quadrant," in the year 2016.

It was reported that she has been cast as Nimue in the Netflix's upcoming web television series "Cursed," based on the novel of the same name by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler.
The series set in a re-imagined Arthurian world, will follow a teenage girl Nimue, played by Langford, destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake.

Katherine Langford was born on April 19, 1996, in Perth, Western Australia. She, along with her younger sister Josephine Langford, was raised in Applecross, a riverside suburb of Perth.
Her father Stephen Langford is a flying doctor and director of medical services at the Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Operations, while her mother Elizabeth Langford is a pediatrician. Her sister is also an actress.
She went to Perth Modern School, where she studied music and drama, and was sports captain and a nationally ranked swimmer, during her senior years.
She was first interested in medicine and politics, in addition to musical theatre. But, at the age of 16, she was inspired by the Born This Way Ball, when she attended a Lady Gaga's concert and decided to learn piano.
