In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, one name is circulating in social media sites as one of the people who predict events of 2020. Baba Vanga is called by her followers as the Balkan Nostradamus because of her alleged mystic powers. The blind prophet rose to international fame when her 2020 prediction about the sinking of the Russian submarine Kursk came true.
Since then, the prophet's followers claim that she also predicted the 9/11 World Trade Center attack, the 2004 tsunami in Thailand and the 2008 election win of President Barack Obama. Aside from being able to tell the future, Baba Vanga's supporters also believe that she also has the power to talk to the dead. Baba Vanga died in 1996, but her predictions about the year 2020 is now coming to light.
Did Baba Vanga predict the end of the world in 2020?
The most disturbing prediction of Baba Vanga is the demise of the world in 2020. She also added that the armageddon will not happen for another 3,000 years, which is in the year 5079. However, she did not specify how the world would end or what will lead to the end of times
Vanga's followers also stated that she foresaw an assassination attempt on the life of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The assassination attempt on President Putin's life will happen at some date in the future in Europe and that he will be attacked by a member of his own security team.
Did Baba Vanga predict a tsunami in 2020?
Based on Vanga's predictions, a tsunami could strike Asia again, just 16 years after the tsunami tragedy of 2004 that killed more than 220,000 people in SouthEast Asia. If her prediction is correct, the tsunami will affect Japan, China, Pakistan, and Indonesia.
Another psychic named Craig Hamilton-Parker from Psychics.co.uk stated that he too saw many environmental disasters that will unfold around the world in 2020. He said that we will witness a lot of earthquakes, volcanic activities and floods in 2020, specifically in Japan, the USA, and India, and it could disrupt the Summer Olympics.
Baba Vanga's predictions that came true
Although she is named as the Balkan Nostradamus, Baba Vanga is said to have a success rate of only 85%. The Bulgarian psychic is credited with predicting the sinking of the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk that happened in 1980. The psychic's followers also said that she predicted the rise of ISIS in the Middle East and the election win of President Barack Obama in America.
However, Baba Vanga also stated that President Barack Obama will be the last African American President of the US, in which a lot of people said is impossible. Author Judith Joyce further explained some of Vanga's predictions in her book "The Weiser Field Guide to the Paranormal: Abductions, Apparitions, ESP, Synchronicity, and More Unexplained Phenomena from Other Realms."
Joyce wrote that during World War II, hundreds of people came to Vanga for advice and to seek help, they wanted to know about the situation of the armed forces and their loves ones who were at the frontlines of the war. There were also those who asked for her help to find the dead bodies of their loves ones. Even Bulgarian King Boris II came to consult her on April 8, 1942. During the Communist era, a dozen members of the ruling elite came to Vanga for advice and it was even rumored that Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev asked for her advice too.
