People are panicking that the end times are near after bats mysteriously drop dead in Israel. On Saturday, Adi Moskowitz saw bats already lifeless lying on the ground. He was taking a walk through the Gan Leumi park in Ramat Gan. Another resident, this time from Pardes Katz neighborhood, documented the strange phenomenon and posted the video online.
Moskowitz, on the other hand, shared four photos which are all featured in the article by the Daily Star. A Facebook netizen commented that they had seen dead bats in the city of Hadera. The city of Hadera is 50 km away from the Gan Leumi park.
Propechy being fulfilled
The bats mysteriously drop dead is being interpreted as a prophecy being fulfilled. The dead bats are all young and showed no trauma to suggest that someone did it. The founder of the Israeli Bat Society claims that bats mysteriously dropping dead is extremely rare.
Nora Lifshitz told Breaking Israel News that this is an unusual incident. She did comment that this might be the product of the cold weather. However, that is only a theory, and they have never witnessed this in the past. Experts have disproven this theory from Lifshitz, saying that cold weather does not explain the sudden death.
Female First UK, along with The Daily Star, reported that there was a religious site that "explained" this strange phenomenon, prophesizing that this is the "end days." Breaking News Israel noted that the holy site is notorious in trying to align weird things with Bible verses.
Bats mysteriously drop dead is explained through the Bible verse Zephania 1:3. The verse goes, "I will sweep away man and beast; I will sweep away the birds of the sky and the fish of the sea." The verse ends with, "I will make the wicked stumble, and I will destroy mankind from the face of the Earth."
Meanwhile, internet users are hypothesizing that the bats died because of the 5G towers. Reports in the past claim that 5G is harmful, and so netizens believe that the 5G towers surrounding the area are to blame for the bats' death.
Mysterious Universe, on the other hand, has another explanation. The bats mysteriously drop dead may be a byproduct of human activities. Israel has a history of fumigating caves. In turn, it might have poisoned the bats.
It is also essential to be mindful of the current situation. The coronavirus epidemic is blamed on bats. The origin of the virus is said to be because of someone eating bats. Hence, there may be people out there who fear bats. They could have poisoned the said creatures too.
