As of now, many countries have already announced nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak that has been going around lately in the past couple of weeks. With people staying at home, and shops and other businesses are closed as of the moment, almost every city all around the world looked deserted.

There are also weird yet amazing changes that has been happening now that people are staying at home. Just like what happened recently in country Mumbai, where various stories have reported that animals are starting to resurface again after a long time of being lost.

Animals spotted again in Mumbai

Mumbai is one of the busiest and crowded cities in India and most of the animal-come back reports were seen in this city. Some of the rarest sights, such as seeing dolphins, deers, and peacocks around and near the city were happening while the city is currently in lockdown.

Many people have said that Mumbai is like the centre of business in India, and the city is almost always up and running 24/7. Now that the residents in the city are under mandatory lockdown due to the coronavirus, many businesses are on pause. With that, human inactivity is less nowadays, thus animals are coming out of their dens for fresh air

Animals showing up in other countries

Mumbai is not the only city who has seen animals coming back in action. In fact, in Italy, there are also a number of different animals that were not seen for a while and appeared to be resurfacing lately, now that Italy is also under lockdown.

Recently, it was reported that dolphins and swans began to appear in the waters of Italy. Dolphins were not seen in the past couple of years in Venice, Italy. Also, videos that were uploaded online shown crystal clear waters are flowing back in the canals of Italy and even groups of fishes are swimming in it too.

Swans were also spotted in one of Italy's waterways. These birds were not seen for quite some time now, and seeing that the canals are clean and crystal clear, they might have thought to go for a swim.

To most Italians, it is quite a surprise to see such animals showing up again, and it's very heart whelming to think that even though coronavirus has costed many lives at stake, the lockdowns were a pretty big help for Mother Nature.

Not only that, but civets were also spotted in the streets of Kerala while everyone is in lockdown. Most of the civets in Kerala are hiding in the forests, and apparently, since the streets are quieter than usual, they thought of "strolling around" in the city.

Most reports from other countries in the world have reported that birds, animals that were known to have been long gone, and sea creatures are slowly going out and roaming freely in the empty cities. According to ecologists, humans staying at home have brought good benefits for other animals in the ecosystem.
