Tyson Fury, a two-time world heavyweight champion, ranked as the world's best active heavyweight, the second-best active boxer, by BoxRec, ESPN and TBRB, has had one tough journey to stardom, filled with ups and downs. The professional boxer, who started off in the limelight with his WBA, WBO, IBO and The Ring titles, went down the path of alcoholism, recreational drug use and extreme weight gain. Despite being stripped of all the titles, he redeemed himself and conquered again, with a very powerful and dominating performance.   1.  Since his comeback to the ring, he had been dubbed as “The People’s Champion,” for his open and honest discussions about his mental health struggles.
  2.  He has often expressed his interest in entering the Mixed Martial Arts, and even had a training session with Darren Till in November 2019.
  3.  Following his training session, Till claimed that there is a 70% chance of Fury competing in MMA. Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has even offered to train him, if he wishes to crossover to MMA.
  4.  He was nominated for the 2015 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award, but was soon faced with a petition signed by 140,000 people, requesting to disqualify him citing his words from the past about homosexuality.

  12.  He secured a five-fight contract with ESPN and Top Rank worth $100 million, and returned to the ring with his fight against the WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight champion Tom Schwarz (24–0, 16 KOs) on June 15, 2019 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
  13.  His autobiography “Behind the Mask: My Autobiography” was released on November 14, 2019. The book reached the number-one bestseller position on Amazon with in just 24 hours.
  14.  On October 12, 2020, it was announced that he was foregoing the most famous trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder, as the organizers were not able to set a date for the rematch in 2020.

  24.  In an episode of Monday Night Raw on October 15, 2019, a contract of match to be held at WWE Crown Jewel, between Fury and Strowman was signed. Fury easily defeated Strowman by Countout in the match, and for his participation, earned around $15 million.
  25.  When he was 17 years old, he met Paris Mullroy, who was just 15 years old, raised in an Irish Traveller family. They started dating in the year 2006, and got married in 2008 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
  26.  The couple have five children - three sons and two daughters - Venezuela and Valencia Amber, while Paris also suffered two miscarriage in 2014 and 2018. They currently reside in Morecambe, Lancashire.
  27.  All of his sons have the first name Prince - Prince Tyson Fury II, Prince Adonis Amaziah, and Prince John James. He has named the sons as Prince, as he is the King, and they are the princes, until they earn their rightful name.
