Creative Hairstylists Gives Boyfriend Impressive Hair Makeovers

It's been a week since America has declared a shutdown of non-essential businesses, and that means thousands of people are forced to stay at home. Even though staying in seems like a great idea, there are times when you will feel bored and want to do something to pass the time, and this is exactly what Heidi Lee Oley from Atlanta, Georgia did with a little help from her boyfriend Geoff.

Since salons are closed all across America, Heidi thought of a fun way that she can use her skill and bond with her boyfriend, and that matches his hairstyle with pop culture icons. 

Quarantined Hairstylist GF Experiment With BF

According to her interview with Bored Panda, she said she started curling her boyfriend's hair while he was on the computer and thought that he would look like George Washington if styled right. She styled him and experimented, then posted his pictures of his new hairdo on Facebook and some hair forums. It immediately became viral as thousands of people loved the makeover. 

After receiving positive responses, she was inspired to do more. The hair and beauty industry is in limbo and she said they don't have clients and they don't get paid since a lot of them are self-employed. The love that they received as a couple because of the photoshoot made her want to keep the makeover as an ongoing thing between them. Heidi also added that she wanted to put a smile on people's faces during this difficult time. 

Heidi also revealed that she loves playing with her boyfriend's hair and that he loves it too. She loves how considerate his boyfriend is of her newfound hobby. The couple got numerous hairstyle requests in the comment section of their Instagram account so we will see more of them in the future. 

The hairstylist said that it is fun to step out of your comfort zone and learn something new, like new styles and techniques that can be used in the future once the shutdown is over. She said that she will be using everything that she learns when she is back behind the chair. As for her boyfriend Geoff, he said that he lets Heidi style his hair because he knows that she loves doing hair. Thousand of people can agree that they are the definition of "couple goals."

Geoff's style

One of the most famous styles of Geoff was when he dressed up as Princess Leia from Star Wars. His Princess Leia cosplay garnered 151 likes and 17 comments. 

Another famous style of his was when he dressed up as British singer Amy Winehouse. The post garnered 122 likes and 13 comments. 

Heidi wanted Geoff to know what it feels like to go to prom with your hair done, and that is what she did. Geoff's prom hairstyle garnered 152 likes and 34 comments.

The style that started it all, Heidi posted Geoff's picture as George Washington. The post garnered 102 likes and 13 comments.

Heidi said that they will answer to people's request and will be posting updates on Geoff's new style on their Instagram and Facebook accounts.
