Power outages span basin, affect hospital

MORONGO BASIN — Power is currently out in areas of Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree.

More than 1300 residents have been affected in Joshua Tree, according to Southern California Edison’s Website, and multiple reports have been made of the power outage affecting Hi-Desert Medical Center.
