Household hazardous waste disposal event Saturday for Broomfield residents

Broomfield residents can dispose of household hazardous waste during an appointment-only event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Only residential waste will be accepted.

Products such as paint, stain and varnish, motor oil, cleaning solvents, pesticides, weed killers, antifreeze, rechargeable batteries, gasoline, aerosol cans, waxes and wood preservatives can be disposed of at the event, as can old electronics. A maximum of five of each type of electronic component will be accepted from each household.
